Taipei for Conference and Trade Show Visitors

The big halls are all on the MRT. Here is how to reach them, where to sleep, and what to do with a free evening.

In town for an expo, a conference or a week of meetings? Taipei makes it easy: the main exhibition halls sit on MRT lines, and the trains run from 06:00 to midnight. The short version:

  • Nangang Exhibition Center (Halls 1 and 2): Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station, at the end of the Blue Line (BL23) and the Brown Line (BR24).
  • TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 and TICC: side by side on Xinyi Road, by Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station (Red Line, R03).
  • Taipei Expo Park: Yuanshan Station (Red Line, R14).
  • Stay on the Blue Line for Nangang, or in Xinyi if your show is split between Nangang and the Xinyi venues.

The main venues

Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 and 2

The Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (臺北南港展覽館, TaiNEX) is in Nangang, in the east of the city, with two halls: Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1) and Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2).

  • Address Hall 1: No. 1, Jingmao 2nd Road, Nangang District. Hall 2: No. 2, Jingmao 2nd Road
  • MRT Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station, the last stop on both the Blue Line (BL23) and the Brown Line (BR24)
  • By train HSR and Taiwan Railway trains stop at Nangang Station; change to the Blue Line there for one stop to BL23
  • Food on site Hall 1 has cafes and fast food (Louisa Coffee, MOS Burger, Subway and more) and a 7-Eleven. Some outlets open only on exhibition days

TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 and TICC

In Xinyi, at the foot of Taipei 101, the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 (臺北世貿一館, TWTC) hosts trade and consumer shows, and the Taipei International Convention Center (臺北國際會議中心, TICC) next door hosts conferences, forums and keynotes. TICC is run by TAITRA, Taiwan's trade promotion body.

  • Address TWTC Hall 1: No. 5, Section 5, Xinyi Road. TICC: No. 1, Section 5, Xinyi Road. Both in Xinyi District
  • MRT Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station (Red Line, R03)

Taipei Expo Park

Taipei Expo Park (花博公園) is run by the Taipei city convention foundation. Its Expo Dome (爭艷館) hosts design fairs, markets and consumer shows. MRT: Yuanshan Station (Red Line, R14), Exit 1. The Taipei Fine Arts Museum (臺北市立美術館) is in the same park.

COMPUTEX and the big shows

The best known is COMPUTEX, the computer and AI trade show. COMPUTEX 2026 ran June 2 to 5 at Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 and TICC. The show's official site gives COMPUTEX 2027 as June 1 to 4, 2027, at the same four venues. That means moving between Nangang and Xinyi, so plan your days by venue. For other shows, check the venue's own calendar: TaiNEX and TWTC list upcoming events on their websites.

Good to know: during a big show, hotels across the city can fill up and the trains to the halls get crowded. Book your room early and allow extra time at the start and end of the day.

From the airport to Nangang

  • Airport MRT and Blue Line. Take the Taoyuan Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station (A1), walk through to the Blue Line (BL12) and ride east to the end of the line, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (BL23).
  • Airport bus. Kuo-Kuang bus 1843 runs from Taoyuan Airport to the Nangang Exhibition Center, about 1 hour 20 minutes. Check times with Kuo-Kuang before you fly.
  • From Songshan Airport. Songshan Airport Station (BR13) is on the Brown Line, which ends at the exhibition center (BR24): no change needed.
  • From elsewhere in Taiwan. The high speed rail ends at Nangang Station, one Blue Line stop from the exhibition center.
